One of Western Canada’s largest ag events features fun for the entire family!

Our pinnacle event, The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair (RMWF), is held annually during Manitoba’s March spring break. A tourism highlight in Western Canada, the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair is one of Western Canada’s largest agricultural events and the largest annual event to be held in Brandon, Manitoba. The RMWF is one of only two fairs in Canada to receive Royal designation from Queen Elizabeth II and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Events in North America, receiving numerous awards from the tourism industry. At the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, you can expect to see world-class show jumping, heavy horse competitions, livestock sales and displays, a quality hands-on agricultural education program , exceptional live entertainers, over 300 commercial and agricultural exhibits, and much more!

Agriculture

Meet the farmers and their animals in the Royal Farm Yard! 44,000 SF is home to the petting zoo, live animals shows on the TD AG Action Stage, cattle shows, and much more. Take a dig through the giant sandbox, ride a mini tractor and try your hand at the seed separator.

Sunrise Breakfast

The Annual Sunrise Breakfast is the official kick-off to the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair.

Horse Show

Manitoba’s #1 indoor equestrian show! Competition starts early each day in both the Westoba Place main arena and Westoba Ag Centre, with top-level show jumping, hackney and heavy horse events. With 5,000 seats to choose from, there is always a perfect spot to watch the show.

49th Annual Royal Fiddlers’ Contest
Wednesday, March 27th, 2024

Enjoy the old-time waltzes, jigs, and reels at the 48th Annual Royal Fiddlers’ Contest, March 27th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. from the Shur Gro Entertainment Stage of the Manitoba Hydro Amphitheatre at Brandon’s Keystone Centre. Fiddlers will compete in the Old-Time and Métis Fiddle classes for over $2,000 in cash prizes.
